for a thin lip spoiler like that you don't necessarily have to drill, just use good body molding tape, and it will hold... imo... i used 3m, and it's find, no problems... i have the m3 rear spoiler on my gen 5...

Very nice job! Good idea with the primer since everything rusts in Hawaii, just look at our Aloha Stadium.
