One thing about ordering rims, you pay up the arm for shipping..

When buying a rim, what should one look for in quality. Do they bend easily or warp or rattle, etc?

How's MB rims?

Hey Lammydi,

Any MPG hit with these heavy 29lb GS rims you are using. Any spacer required or it is as easy as by rims, add wheel, put on car?

To be honest with you, I don't pay attention to MPG.
I went from stock to 18" then to 20" then another set of 20" back down to 18" then finally stay with the GS 18" rims. In theory, the bigger the wheels the heavier it gets. Exception will be those performance forge wheels that cost an arm and a leg. I just go for the look and not worry about MPG.
Oh, no spacer requires as it is a perfect fit.

I went form 17s to 18s on my gs300 andhad no change in mpg....maybe on a 4 cyl it may make a diff, is the concern adding more weight to the car or is it more of some weird increase in inertial forces???
