Thinking about throwing some rims on my 02 camry le. Stuck between 18s and 20s. For now i wouldn't like to lower the car or do any other mods besides just changing the rims. Would 20s ride with no rub and no problem?
20s are fine if it's not lowered, but the ride might be harsh. if you do plan on lowering in the future..go with 18s. It depends on the offset as well.

Wow, 20 inch rims will definitely be "baller" looking. Why not go with 19s instead? They will look big and nice but not too oversize. Personally, I don't think anything over 18 inch will be comfortable. They might look good, but too harsh of a ride.
Let say using two identical tires, different size. One to fit 16" and one to 18". Would you say the 18" have louder road noise or size doesn't affect road noise?

No reason why it should have anything to do with it. Same type of tire (material composition, thread etc), matching width and same outer diameter yields exact the same contact surface, materials in contact etc.....
i was thinking about the 19s but then their so hard to find tires for if i were to get a blow out. I'm really stuck inbetween 18s and 20s
One thing to keep in mind is big lip will make rims look smaller.
So if you go for 18's then don't get the big lip but go for the style that have the spokes come out to the edge of the rims (like the GS rims)
If you like big lip then you should go with 20's.
For comparision click on my car site to see between 18's and 20's.

I vote for 18's as they offer great looks and lighter weight. The lighter weight will preserve braking, acceleration, handling, and fuel economy. The ride will not suffer nearly as much either.
20's sure do look nice when the right wheel is used, but generally cause the car to suffer in every other category.
yea this is why i said its so hard to decide, just looking at that black camry make me wanna get 20's. Before you changed your suspension set up how was it?
