Gen5 Ebay Projector Headlights

Anyone try these out? these say they will only fit 02-04, but they sure look like the Gen5.5s to me....Im thinking about getting them for my 05 (thats if they fit) but I want to know what you guys think. Ive bought ebay headlights before for my tacoma and they were great, not sure about the camry though.

Any thoughts?

Those look like BMW-Halo style projectors.

I've heard a lot of people b*tch about them quality-wise...

they'll fit, but the light output isn't the best...you could always retro them for HIDs though...i'm planning on doing mine, i just have a lot of reading to do to prepare...pics of mine are on my cardomain page..they aren't exactly like those ones though.

yeah Ive seen the ones with the chrome housing discussed in previous threads, I prefer black, but I have yet to see these black ones on a camry. Just wondering if they are a different version of it, perhaps better quality or just the same but in a different color. I may skip the idea all together for the fact that I have some SE headlights Id rather put on but I figured Id give these a shot since they look a little nicer

Anyways im pretty turned off by the idea if the output of light isnt the same as OEM. Im not looking to put HIDs in, just wanted it for looks, but I do like to see whats going on with the road at night, so Id rather skip it all together, no need for retro fitting for me.

So I will just leave this as an FYI for others that search in the future for Ebay projectors, and let this die with the rest of the previous threads

Well I found your Dragon Eyes Punks_Not_Dead5 but in black, Im looking more for an OEM look though...just thought Id post a pic of the black ones for people

It seems (to me at least) that the Dragon Eyes would put out less light than the ones Ive posted, just by the way it is designed to give light in four smaller beams rather than the single beam of light like the OEM headlights. Just my observation...

Compared to the original headlights I posted:

i can see fine with them, but they don't do OEM justice. It's actually 5 holes that shoots the light out..i have my SE lights still...still deciding if i want to retro my dragoneye ones...and use my SE til i get that done...i prefure the chrome look to the blacked out. And i don't think it would be as hard to retro as if i went to do my SE ones..but i still have reading to do on HID Retros.

I have tried to install a set of projectors that I got off e-bay for my 2002 and I found the fitment to be garbage. The top connection where it is supposed to be bolted on was 1.5 inches too short on the set I tried. I would stick with a true retro of HID's if you are looking for projectors. I found this out the hard way, but now I have control over the quality of the fit and finish.

i already use the ebay ones...i like the look and the chrome...like i stated in my first post inthe thread.

I was thinking i could just cut out the 5 projectors (refure to the pics) and replace it with a true HID projector..i know it sounds easier than it would actually be...but like i also stated...i'm just starting to do some reading about retrofitting, i probably won't get at it til late summer/early fall. Gaining as much info as i can first.

How do the low-beams work? I can't really picture how the light output would be on those lights.

Better than i expected actually, it's not great, like the OEM ones are, but it's not like i'm driving blinded down the road. It's more improved with the Silverstar Ulta H1 bulbs in also. I still have my SE lights so i can always go back i want to
