Formula one tint

Do any of you guys have good luck with Formula one window tint. I am looking at the classic which is a dyed film but also has a lifetime warranty against changing colors. I would like to get a metal type but they only offer that in a 15%. I want 20% but they only carry that in a dyed film.

atire, did you go with the 20% dyed? Have you had any fading problems and how long ago sis you tint the car? Are you happy with the darkness on a bright sunny day? I drive mostly during the day so I am not to concerned about night time driving.

I believe mine is 30% or 32%. I do wish that it could have been darker for daytime but the place that I used won't go any darker than GA law permits. In fact, all of the places that I called told me that. I would think you would be fine with 20%. Plus, I have the rear pull-down sunshade so that also makes mine seem darker.

I've had it on for over a year and no fading yet. I had them tint it in May of 2006 the week I bought the car.

I've got the Formula One Classic tint @ 35% on my Camry. I like it a lot - it's still dark with no signs of fading. A lot of it depends on your installer..

The difference between the 15% tint and the 20% tint will me so small that you'll never notice the difference.
