kids shoe scuff mark on vinyl/plastic

Anyone have any tricks to get scuff marks (not scratches) off the vinyl/plastics? I have had professional detail shops clean this off for me before. Just curious if the product they us is easily available over the counter and if it, what product is it?

I've tried a few cleaning supplies both automotive and house hold and it's taken most of the scuff mark off but not completely.

Try using a Mr. Clean "Magic Eraser" sponge. If you have kids, these are indespensable, LOL....

Go to any body shop supply store. Purchase "wax and grease remover". I keep a can of this stuff in my garage and not only will it clean scuffs, it will remove road tar, residue left over from tape that was left on too long, etc. I worked in a body shop many years ago before going to college. You would be amazed at the uses we had for this stuff.

You can get the same things at the 99 cents store. 2 sponges for 99 cents. Just an off brand, but the same thing. I use them all the time. They work great.

a must have..

Then put some interior protector, I use Meguiar's quick interior cleaner, and it doesn't leave your panels greasy and/or shinny..Just clean...and the scuffs are easy to remove in the future..
