USA Radio Locks Up

2007 Camry, the radio "Locks" up. You cannot change the volume with either the knob or the steering wheel control. You have to shut the key off, re-start the motor and everything is fine. Had to do this at a red light last night. Dealer can't seem to find the problem, of course, it wasn't doing it when we took it there. Any Ideas?

Next time don't shut the car off and take it to the dealer...

Sounds like an issue with the radios electronics, turning the power off to the radio resets it. It is really a dealer warranty issue, they should find the problem or replace the radio.

My radio did something similar, and the screen was all scrambled. It happened one day close to the dealer, I went straight to the dealer, they verified the problem. Replaced the radio, no problem with the new one.
