Do I have the belt or chain? When should I have it replaced?

I believe it is a timing chain, though dont quote me entirely..

but i do know that our 2.4's are not zero clearance engines so it's not as crucial to watch as may be on some cars.. something i was sure to ask the dealer when i picked up mine.

as far as when go replace it, thats something else im not sure of but its probably in the manual or maintenance book that came with the car.

I4=chain/v6=belt, check manual for belt change intervals or call Toyota.

NO! Both have chains. The 1MZ and 3MZ were the last Camry engine to have belts.

My 04 Rolla' had a chain too.
Chain should be good for at least 150K miles right?
