identifying rattles.

i have a rattle going on. i think its in the passenger door. the passenger door also sounds weird when i shut it. like somethings loose in there. im not convinced the rattle im hearing while driving is coming from the pass door. is there a technique in finding rattles that i dont know about? its driving me nuts trying to figure out where its coming from..

Have someone else ride in the car with you. Have them try and pinpoint the noise but not tell you where they think it's at. Let them drive while you try and pinpoint the noise. Then discuss it. That's honestly the best way that I've found to find noises. Sometimes when you sit in one position it sounds like it's coming from one spot, but when you move around it sounds like it's coming from somewhere else.

Good luck. Finding the cause of noises and/or leaks can truly suck.

I have a problem with the front passenger seat belt rattling near the front door. I've also seen others complain about this problem. Does it only do it when you have no front passenger? next time grab the seat belt when you hear it.
