Pics of this weekends damage

Wife and I decided to visit our family in Imperial Valley this weekend. Part of our drive takes us on Forrester Rd south of Westmorland, CA. It was around 8pm and I was passing some field worker buses (Buses pick them up at the border and drives them to the fields) and as I pass the last bus doing a good 75-80mph, I saw and hit a damn big rig mud flap with the left side of the car. I stopped at El Centro's new Best Buy and assessed the damage...Broken fog lamp cover, plastic skid thing is hanging on for dear life and lots of bugs stuck on the bumper...no biggie thank god! So instead of spending time with the family, I was fixing the car, now I just need some fogs off ebay. On to the pics!

that sucks! Beautiful color car BTW. Hey, at least it was a mudflap and not a stray cinder block or log or something...

Yer...I knew someone who drove into a bag of concrete mix at night thinking it was a paper bag.

thats definitely an excuse to throw some fogs in there! for your splash guard, try and see if u can get some of those clips from the dealer.. mine was damn near ripped in half from a stray piece of shrapnel on the highway(thank goodness it didnt do anything worse) and i was able to get those clips and now its perfectly fine

DrewsCam, I got the idea for the wheels from another member here..I dont remember his name but he has a hybrid, same color as mine, dropped and the IS wheels. I got a killer deal on them too, $500 for wheels and tires with about 1K miles on them.

MrSo0h0o, I was able to get some clips and screws to hold up the splash guard and all is well now. And yes, this is the perfect excuse to get the fogs!

nice wheels!
i hate road debris....i hit a stray piece of tire with my camry over the summer and it broke the mount for my foglight so it now moves around on its own and it cracked the back piece so water also got in until i re sealed it a few months back...

Nice wheels! Not very many bugs stuck to your front end. Do you use Zaino or Rejex for your finish? Whenever I go to "El Stinko" it's always bugcity!

I use whatever the mexican guys at the car wash use! Ive never zainoed or rejex'd any of my cars now that I think about it. Maybe I should start looking into some of that stuff...I just dont have where to do it...living in an apartment sucks.

is it just me, or does the front tires seem to have a bit of a stretch and is a bit thinner than the rear tires?
