Question about exhaust

I have a 2008 SE 4 cylinder.
I want to tun some type of duals out the back like the v6s models have. Mainly for looks. I was wondering if anyone knew if the v6 exhaust kits would work? Or is the pipes bigger? I don't see much for the 4 cylinders so I was not sure. I'm not a huge fan of loud exuast on 4 cylinders so which one would the best that isn't real loud. but has a decent sound. Also BTW I know I'd have to get a v6 bumper or modify mine for the 2nd exuast opening.

If it is just for looks, it's cheaper to fake it....nobody but some insiders will ever know.

There's not that many V6 exhaust out either. So far there's only the Borla axle-back. Go custom.

Yeah I did actually come across that thread. I was curious if the couple v6 kits that are out if they bolt up or is it different. I haven't seen a stock v6 exhaust so I wasn't sure how different it was. What mufflers sound ok on 4 cylinders without being ricey sounding. I want the appearance plus a little bit more power.

Alright I did a little more research and what I'm wondering is if I bought a v6 exhaust kit and had a exhaust shop fab up the drivers side exhaust coming off the main pipe. The passenger side muffler setup looks the same as the v6s. So I could just get a shop to add some pipe to the other side and bolt it all up.

njerald drives an i4 and has had a v6 exhaust setup bolted right on. he just changed out his rear i4 bumper for a v6 one since it has the two exhaust cutouts on the rear bumper.

i could be wrong. but you can do a search on this forum. it was a while back when he had this mod done.

Really!

Makes it a little hard to use the search engine when your spelling is bad.

The Gen 6 has been out for 22 months.

Sorry it was late last night when I typed this. I did search and did find your set up and someone else's, but have yet to find someone with after market mufflers that were not stock sounding.
