Remote Engine start shutting off

Hey guys and gals, once again, I am posting a question for my girlfriend. The last thread I posted was about a rattle in the sunroof and that was fixed with an 8 hr fix by removing the entire roof and and putting some teflon near the sunroof. The tech said it was a known problem.

Now for the current question. My girlfriend has a 08 SE 4cyl, and the past couple of mornings she has used the remote start to warm up the car. When she went out there to leave the car was shut off. Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: She just said she thinks it goes off after 10 minutes.

Talking no prob

yeah it shuts off after 10 mins as a safey precaution from the dealer , says it in the paperwork too , they should of made it so you can open the door and put the key in the ignition without the car shutting off , cuz when u click your remote to open the door before the 10 mins are up its goes off and u have to key start it , i know it sux but better then sittin in the car while its 15 degrees lol
