New Intake kit

Ok so I have a couple friends who own a local mustang performance shop and they do all my work on the camry and get me deals at their cost normally.. However they cant get me most of the intake vendors because they dont typically deal with imports..so as of right now they priced out a k&n typhoon series intake for me at $289.00 but I know I can get a Fujita for $310.00..

My question is what are others using and what do you recommend? I know of AEM,Air Raid, Injen but havent gotten prices on any of those yet..

Any opinions would be appreciated

Thanks

Try for the K&N Typhoon Intake its the Best for the Camry atm

K&N give u a 14.26hp and the Price is around $250+ $290

its much more better then FUJITA ( only 6hp )

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...rod=69-8610TTK <----- chek it

Thats what I thought.. but I figure k&n in all actuality will only be 10 or so but still better plus cheaper. Thanks for your advice

A lot of people who got those intakes and said they only got a cool sound, no gains that they felt. Someone actually did a whole writeup on how he installed an intake, not sure if it was Fujita or K&N, took it out, reinstalled it, and took it out again and never felt any difference. I don't understand why all these measurements are saying otherewise. You should feel 10hp if you get it...

Really? I could see 'feeling' a significant torque increase, but feeling a 5% hp increase at the crank?

10/268 hp.....3.7% at high RPM. Can you feel 4% at 4200RPM? Only professional drivers might recognize that.

If it isn't K&N or Fujita... others are sporting stock intakes... Go Fujita if you have the money... they're CAI's
