I have rear reading lights in my SE and how did you get your rear seats to fold flat.
Got caught up, should have said 40/20/40 split reclining seats - you are right, can't fold. I test drove an SE and did not see the lights and according to my dealer could not opt for them either...I guess never trust the dealer. Anyway, SE and XLE are fine choices...

I do miss the dual climate control, I'm married also.
Dual Climate control isn't on the SE? hmm i rarely use it in mine...my wife doesn't care for it much eheh
What got me to get the XLE was the smartkey, not an option on SE. It is way cool not having to unlock the door w/ remote or key when running in the rain...
Would be nicer if the XLE had the option to upgrade the steering to wood....
But then again, people would rather by the ES350 huh?

Yes, that is one of the nice features but had to give up the better handling of the SE
re: njeralds post... I guess I need to be more careful in my postings to not get killed here ...should I have said more correctly "trunk-mounted braces in the SE"
It will say it on the Window Sticker, and on the Radio faceplate.

Thanks for the reply.. One more question. I saw this car, and another on the engine noticing this wire.. Though not all the cars I've seen have this. Any idea what it might be?
