I'm considering purchasing an 07 with 20k miles and all the goodies nav, leather, blue tooth, heated seats,6 cylinder, smart key, remote start etc. for $21300. I would like to get opinions on how people feel about this price. This is before taxes and title. Thanks.

Private sales or from a dealer? If from a dealer, Toyota Certified or not? What does the CARFAX look like? A new 2008 wold cost you about $27,000 with the current rebate so it is a great deal if the car has no issues, even if a private sale as you get at minimum the remainder of the original warranty.
It is from a private seller and it has a scratch about 12" long on the driver's side just below the door on the rocker panel. The scratch looks (in the pictures) like it's a paint scrape not a dent. seller says he scraped a curb. It is an xle and kbb quotes at $21034 in the good condition catagory private siller but without option for remote start or smart key (kbb had no option for remote start or smart key). I haven't ran a carfax yet but will before purchase. The car looks (in the pics) real nice inside and out.
Whats his reason for selling it? Maybe he's having or had problems with it. Maybe it's been in an accident and was repaired but has frame damage. I'd be very wary of buying a 2007 off a private seller. He can't offer you a warranty either. I'd pass on this one!

The seller says he is going to get a lease. I assume he is looking at those new low lease offers that are being advertised. From what i can tell he is a recent grad from a large university in a large city and in his mid-twenties. To make another assumtion he might have gotten in over his head so soon out of college. I will be running a carfax before purchase. I relize this is no guarantee but it's the only option I have other then having a body shop put it on a lift. Anyway, what I'm looking for is strickly the opinion of those who are in the know with this car. Aside from the sellers motivation what do you guys think in terms of this deal is this a value or is this to much money to pay for this car? Thanks.
Any more opinions? I'm flying out to pick it up next week.
If the car is okay and only has this scratch, I think it is a good deal. Just make sure you do a good test drive to look for the known problems (tranny flare for example) and anything abnormal. But at 20k it still has plenty of warranty left in case something really comes up. Just make sure your contract states that the car did not have an accident - no matter what carfax says. Good luck, you will like the Camry V6 - and post some pics afterwards.
I have written up a pretty good contract I think. Thanks for all the input fellas the deal is all but done (will be picking it up next Monday). As far as the corolla it just turned 200k about a week ago and I will never get rid of that car and I've had many offers (the Camry is for the wife). Ill get some picks soon after purchase. I read a long post on here about the seats being uncomfortable in the xle I guess I'll find out soon enough with the 8 hr drive back home.
