1. Make sure the odometer display reads "ODO ______" with the overall mileage. The key should not be in the ignition at this point.
2. Press and hold the trip reset button and turn the key to the ON position [instrument panel lights up]
3. The ODO will change to ------- which slowly disappear then turn to zeroes. That completes the resetting of the maint req'd light.

It's all in your user's guide though. There might be something about keeping the driver's side door open while you're doing this.
