I was thinking of buying rims on ebay since there alot cheaper than going down to any local shop where I live. Just was wondering if any one here has done this before, and your experience?

Not from ebay but from wheelsnext.com. It was a hassle free experience. The price was good and they mount and balance and have a good warranty with each tire package. As far as ebay, never bought wheels. You just have to do your research on the seller as far as his/her rating. I usually do not buy unless it's a 100% rating! And remember, you get what you pay for. With online purchasing, you have a larger variety of wheel and tires choices to choose from. Also, you may even get a better price than the local wheel shop.
well thanks for the link to the wheelsnext site ill probably buy online from them very soon. do you think 17s will be to small, or will 18s be better looking?
As of right now i dont think i have the money to lower my car, but i want to buy a new set of rims. most likely from wheelsnext.com, they seem to be more than reasonable. what would look better 17" or 18" rim with out any drop? also does getting aftermarket rims void any warranty on the car?

Whatever choice you make, make sure that the wheels you get are the ones you like, not what everyone else thinks If I can remember, wheels next offer lowering springs as well with the wheel and tire package. I do not know that quality of the springs but check it out, give them a call. I would go with 18's. 18's is a safe bet, and when you do save the money and it is time for lowering, you'll be more happy with the look of 18's than 17's, but again, it's your decision.

what i would like to see is the difference between the 17" and 18" on the camry with the car not being lowered. Since i doubt i will be lowering the car the fiance doesnt want me to spend as much as i did on my civic, since we will be starting a family soon. As of right now my budget is around 1g but i also need to account for tires and the larger the rim i go the more expensive it will be.
If someone has a pictures of a camry with 17's or 18's without springs can you post them please.
getting rims wont void any warranty other than the wheels.. and if you get trd springs they wont void it because they are factory backed

Check this out.....go to www.tirerack.com and select your vehicle. Then check out some wheels you might consider and choose to "view them on car" It will actually give you the option of viewing 17" or 18" on your car specific. It's a nice feature they have. try it our and post your opinions.
