Gen6 Gen 6 Chrome door handles

Anyone ever put on chrome door handles on their 07/08 Camry's? I've seen them on Ebay but they seem to be covers which adhere with tape and that makes me nervous - not to mention the quality. I wouldn't want them to fade or pit. Perhaps that is all that's available vs. actual full chrome handles which replace the stock ones....?

Would love to hear of anyone's experience, preferred place to get them, or ideally see pics with them on....

Cheers.

I had them on my camry for about a year now. The doubleside 3M tape works just fine.
No problem so far.

I got a set, havent put them on. They are the stick on with double sided tape.
Thats how all those door covers are, there isnt a actual new dor handle out there, its just a cover over your existing handle.
It should hold fine, as long as installed properly. Cleaning the handle and applying pressure allowing the glue to adhere to the handle

I've had mine on the Camry for several months with no problem. I had them on my Tundra for three years with no problems. ChromeMasters on eBay has them for the best price.

I've tried the eBay chrome handle covers and was completely disappointed with the quality. Putco makes excellent covers if they are available for the Gen 6. I'll never try anything else again.

I had Putco on my Tundra, which were fine. The ChromeMasters are equal in quality and cost 1/3 less.

I have been thinking of this change recently as well because I think if the Lexus ES has them, it shouldn't look too bad on a Camry. I also want some good quality ones, the ones on ebay have very different prices. Are the $40+ ones good or one should go for the 90+ option?

I can vouch for the handles supplied by shilo500 on eBay. Don't know about the others. He's selling them for $34.95 with $10.00 shipping. Delivery was fast and communication was excellent. I thought I had a problem with a defect, but it turned out to be a molding stain, which came out with regular chrome polish. I also had Putco handles on my Tundra. I can't tell the difference.
