Got the wifes 07 xle

This car is shweet. We drove it home (about 400 miles) from where we bought it and everything seems fine. It has 20k miles on it and I didn't notice any shift flare but the weather was bad and I'm not sure I know what I'm looking for. This thing is loaded! smart key, nav, heated leather both seats, fog lights, auto dimming rear view mirror, heated outside mirrors, home link, day time and auto on head lights, power sun roof, remote start from the dealer (shuts motor off when you open the door thats big time annoying) tinted windows from the dealer, and for the big finally drum roll please....... a 7 yr 100k platinum warranty from the dealer!!!!!!!! unfu**ing believable.

I got that Platinum Extra Care Warranty also. Is your car i4 or v6?
Only the v6 has shift flare problems. The i4 has hesistation problem but can be fix with the TSB applied to it.
Congrat on your new car and welcome to TN.

The one short coming you will find, if you have them, are the POS bridgestone tires. I got exactly 31k out of them in and about 1 year of use.

It is a V6. It has the Michelin's. It has the nitrogen filled tires and today the low tire pressure light came on. Does anyone know if I can put regular air in them or not?

I must have done something right because my wife keeps saying "the real question is when you turn your car on does it return the favor?" Like the caddy commercial.
