Gen 5.5 TRD rear sway bar ('05-'06)

I talked to TRD USA yesterday and they said that the '05-'06 Camry TRD rear sway bar is in development. They couldn't give me a release date but I thought I'd pass the information along.

I've considered installing the Gen 5 bar but after seeing one persons bracket break and another break the bar itself, I figured I'd just wait until a quality properly fitted/engineered bar was available. Hopefully it won't be too long.

good news! i'll probably replace my gen 5 bar just for those reasons... so far i've been lucky. it has a tendency to make a lot of squeaking noises too, unless i keep the bushings well lubricated.

I didn't realize that TRD doesn't have a RSB for Gen5.5 yet...

Same here.

I'm really hoping it doesn't take too long to bring the RSB to market. Hopefully, they are using Hotchkis or Eibach for the manufacturer.

EDIT: After talking to TRD USA again, there IS NOT a TRD RSB for the Gen 5.5 in the works. The Gen 5 RSB works properly.

John at TRD USA said that he broke a RSB bracket on his Gen 5.5 also.

I did install the TRD RSB about 2 weeks ago on the AutoCross setting and haven't had any problems. The car corners MUCH better. I'm actually more pleased than I thought I'd be. The car's handling is nearly neutral now.
