Gen 5.5 Ground Effects install pictures

I finally got around to installing the Effects kit I got from eBay. Took a couple of hours but I'm pleased.

The front and rear spats are crooked/don't follow the body lines, but it looks good.

Most people won't notice.

I didn't have the templates in the documentation... so it was guesswork.

The ones that I've seen from SET never came with templates. The parts are the templates for drilling the holes.

In my opinion, that's the best looking ground effects kit available for the Gen 5-5.5. Now get the matching rear spoiler.

One thing that I've seen is the ground effects will sometimes vibrate behind the front wheels in a cross wind. It will make a slight air leak or rattling type sound. Adding an extra fastener on the inner most edge inside the wheel well will eliminate that problem.

i dont like how the front and rear are two pieces making the middle look like it broke off or something. but it doesnt look that bad. defintly lower that sucker! haha

nice wheels too...i have the same ones in powdercoat black on my gen 5

the only painted ones ive seen is in the gray above.. i know it sucks
