Question Turning off bluetooth

I've searched and searched for this answer but can't find it.
How do you turn off the bluetooth on a 07 SE?
The bluetooth is interfering with my Garmin GPS. The only way the GPS works is if I turn off the car or put it in the back seat or on the roof.
I've been to the service department and the were no help.

My Garmin has no problems whether I'm talking using Bluetooth, or if it's just paired or if I haven't paired my phone yet.

Do you have a Bluetooth Garmin?

Sounds like you have other problems......

No bluetooth, I have the GPS276.
I searched the manual that came with the car and there is nothing in there about turning it off.
I went down to the dealer/ service department and they couldn't fiqure out how to turn it off either other then taking out the stereo and putting in an aftermarket one.

+1 I don't think its your blue tooth. I have paired up many phones and alot of people have Garmins and have no issues.

Two different models of Garmin, with and without bluetooth, I've had a couple of different bluetooth phones synced with no problems.

I have had the same problem with my Garmin Nuvi 350 and my 07 Camry. I don't think it's the bluetooth in the audio system causing the problem. I think it's the diversity antenna in the front windshield. I think that interferes with the GPS having a clear view to the sky. Move your GPS a few inches to either side of the diversity antenna and try that. It seems to help on my car.

Mike
I tried that, my GPS works in the back seat and on the roof.
It may not be the bluetooth, but I can't think of anything else.
It only happens when I turn on the ignition. With the car off, It works fine.
