Hello, I just purchased an 03 XLE with 40,000 miles, fully loaded. This car has the Automatic heating controls which i am not sure is working correctly. When I press the AUTO button the AC light comes on, (I read that should happen) but the fan speed never drops automaticly. This morning I had the temp set to 65 and I was roasting. Where is the sensor in the car placed? Is there something I am doing wrong? I know i can turn down the fan myself but it should do it on its own.... Also even with the fan turned all the way down and set to 65 after 15 mins i have to turn the heat off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help....

FYI, Brought the car to the dealer and there was a lose wire to the heater sensor. they fixed it and it works fine.
