I used those little bottles of Testors model paint on mine. It works great and the color matches very well. You can pick it up at WalMart or any place that sells car models.
did you have to primer it anything or just toss the paint on and you were on your way? alsos do i n eed to take it off the car before? or can i keep it on and use painters tape/paper
Yep. On this one I only repainted the red because a rock hit the paint and chipped half of it off. I scraped off the other half and repainted the red area.
This isn't a close up but the white area turned sort of tan and the red area turned pink. I repainted the red and white.
what kind of clear coat should i get? and is it safe to wash the emblem after its painted and stuff? :// thanks =b
You really shouldn't need a clear coat. Check the paint you use to see if it's recommended or required.
It will be safe to wash. Preparation is the key when painting. Make sure the surface is lightly scuffed and free of all oils, dirt, and dust before you paint it. If painting an entire emblem, a light primer coat before painting would be better.
