Gen6 HELP!! this noob with a HID kit 4 08 SE camry

hello
please help me!! im looking to replace my headlights. where is the best place to buy one?? any suggestions on what kind to buy? i have no experience with any car stuff so if you could tell me what HID kit you have, how much you paid and where to buy it, i can just buy what everyone else has and get the installed... please HELP!!!..

i was going to get 6000k but after reading different threads, im prob gonna go with a 4300K. 4300k is the more natural factory looking HID lights correct? i hear that 6000k yells out HID!!! and looks un factory like. iv seen cars on the road that have like a purp headlight and think wtf, so i dont want ppl to think that about my head lights.... so 4300k is good, right?

i thoguht that the kits cost around 100$, but the prices i see on different sites are over 300$
-__-;

please help!!

150-100 is cheap no brand hid kits
150-250 is more reputable brands

search the forums for the hid group buy, it's cheaper.

i'm using a cheap no brander and it's worked so far...

i've seen all the colors in person and i think i would stick with 6000k. it's closest to bmw, lexus ect... i wish there was one in between 4300 and 6000 but that's closest to white light

What is the purpose of fitting them into a tsx projector instead our stock projector?

I have only used HID's on my tc and didnt have to do anything just plug and play.

so u have a great wide beam and no glare. tsx owns a kit. but can u fit the fx35 in place of the tsx? cause the bixenon owns single xenon. and just about every thing owns a kit.,

from what i gathered. TSX projectors are for HIDS. Camry stocks are for halogen bulbs. Since I ordered HID's.......TSX retrofit it is.

+1 Our gen6 Camry projector was designed for halogen bulbs. It works quite well with HID kit but the output is not even close to TSX projectors (or others luxury cars like Lexus, BMW...
If you look at my Camry or any Camry with HID kit you would see an uneven light spots infront of the car because our projector could not projects a wide beam like TSX and alike. TSX is not the best projector out there but it is the most popular for retrofit because of nice cutoff line and ease of retrofit.
If I have to compare how bright the output...this is just IMO.
Gen6 stock halogen light= 1X output
Gen6 HID kit plug-n-play= 3X output
Any HID projectors retrofitted= 6X output

I haven't done any retrofit but I have gathered these informations from this forum and HIDplanet.com and have seen many pictures of different cars with Gen6 HID kit versus Gen5 and Gen6 retrofitted.

They are referring to the HID Projector's that the TSX's come with. They are very common to use for retrofits

you know the easiest to thing to do is send ur headlights into one of the mmebers on this forum, forgot his name but he was doing retofits or just buy a HID kit from one of the website i listed. its a really easy procedure trust me, i thought HID was complicated at first to but after u buy the kit and take a look at it, its bascailly the same as changing a bulb.
