Boy, I am sick. I just got my new 2007 Camry and we are in the garage waxing it and i noticed the front lower spoiler is badly damaged way under the front.
here is my ?, is the front spoiler glued, 3m tape'd and just clipped on.
cause, it the dealer wants to just paint it, I want if off the car.
I think I will demand a new one.
do they come from the factory painted,
are there any instructins on the web to remove it.
thanks

Sorry for the bad news on your new car! Did you buy used (07)? In that case, not sure if the dealer would acknowledge your demand. Also, do you mean the lower front lip or the bumper? I can not imagine how the front lip is damaged "way under the front", it's just a small lip. Take a pic, post it, and some experts here can help you quickly.
It is cliped on from the back of the bumper. If you want a new one, You will pay for a new one. Insurance wont cover normal road wear.

the dealers porter did it. the car is brand new. 2 days old
in other words, the front bumper has to come off to remove the front lip spoiler on the SE.
My brother can remove it with proper instructionsf anyone knw where i can get the instruction in pdf form.
THE DEALER DID IT.
2 days old - roll it back to the dealer and let them take care off it. why do you even want to mess with it. You should have a good case that this was damaged before delivery and nobody inspects a new car underneath for possible damage.

Like JSM1284 said, it is clipped on to the front bumper so if you removed the lip kit it will shown all the litte square holes that the clippers were hooked in placed. Bring it back to the dealer and insist for a replacement free of charge.

I am doing just that. are the front bumpers easy to come of. I did my old honda a few times myselft yeah a girl can do it.
Might as well leave the bumper on the car and take it to the dealer and have them do it since they messed it up.

I'm sure you can take the front lip kit off. What are you gonna do with those square holes on your bumper?
Just ask the dealer to give you a new SE lip kit.

I am lost with the direction that thread is going . A new car is damaged - get it fixed at the dealer free of charge. Why the reluctance?
Further discussing to take bumper off etc - does not make sense...except if the car is not new and was damaged by the owner.
anyone know if they come from the factory already painted. they do not have a body shop at the dealer i found out.
Almost all dealers I know do not have a body shop...but they do have body shops they work regularly with. They contract that work out, very normal. They probably can order it pre-painted though.
My brother said he is install my HID with the bumper off. so I thought that at the same time do the lip too. if the dealer will maybe flip some bucks his way.
and do you really think they can order already painted. I like the fact of factory paint.
