Attention Gen 6 SE Owners: Are You Happy with Your Rear Spoiler?
This "rear lip spoiler" Toyota offers for the SE isn't really my cup of tea but there was no other choice from the factory...I indeed ordered it on my 08 SE V6 in Blue Ribbon, but do you other SE owners like it?
I would have liked a higher-off-the-trunk wing for this vehicle because this lip looks like the car isn't wearing a spoiler at all from many angles -- perhaps something along the lines of the one Mitsubishi put on the new Lancer.
Can someone recommend an aftermarket rear wing for the 08 SE that I can look into? I would need to have it painted and installed by a shop in the Vegas area, but are there any recommendations in terms of a wing itself?

Thanks, Gang!
Look into these two spoiler options for a more aggressive look:
The first wing, from Razzi, is EXACTLY what Toyota should have offered as the spoiler from the factory...I like it, but is there one without that horrible center "support beam"? It looks like a Sentra! Gawd!!
The second one I don't really care for; I'd rather have it coming off the trunk pretty high....

Indeed, you have the factory lip for the SE, correct? So then you must like the lower profile lips because you like the RKS lip, too...I prefer the higher wings, but there don't seem to be many for this generation Camry.
I just don't think Toyota made this factory wing anywhere near aggressive enough for the SE.
Is this "lip" even available from Toyota on any other Camry model for the sixth generation??

The lip is a option for all Gen 6 Camrys. Working in sales I see and hear alot of what people want to buy and alot of people did not like a larger spoiler. We sell alot lip spoilers. I always hear people say "I'm glade Toyota did'nt put that large thing on the new Camrys."
+1 on oem rear lip, at first i didnt like it (my dad wanted it) but then it grew on me
my clinical instructer has a SE just like mines but w/o spoiler and i think it looks weird as heck

Interesting.
You know it's funny; looking at the 08 brochure, it makes it seem like the lip is ONLY available for the SE...
You sell alot of lips separate from when folks buy the vehicle? In other words, they won't get the lip when they order the vehicle, but they'll have it put on afterwards? They really didn't care for the higher spoilers?
