? about Gen 6 V6 airfilter box - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

After i un do the 3 clips holding down the top half of the filter box, am i suposed to do anything elts? It seams hard to lift it up to get to the filter.

Ya it can be tricky, what I found is that I need to push it back towards the firewall at an angle, since it's connected at the back of the airbox as well.

thanks for the info. I just ordered myself a K&N drop in filter, so i want to make sure ill be able to do it. Lol. The 05 with the i4 airfilter box was so much easier to access.

I agree, It can be a pain if it's your first time trying to figure it out.
