Question Is her price too much?

Found the typical 'lady had it in the garage' deal. 07 Camry XLE V6 with 4300 miles and every option except navigation. She won't budge off of $25K. Average book of three main sites (Edmunds, NADA, and Kelly) is about $24,500. I'll probably do the deal and hopefully sell my 2000 Avalon (hope its ok to say that here) and come out OK. Just wondering if I should walk away?

Thanks all

Yes, if you don't want the car at $25,000!!!!!!

Does it have remote start, smart key, VSC/TC?

Sounds like a lot for a 2 year old model car (even with low mileage) that could have been purchased 23 months ago for about $28,500 +TTL.

I don't understand why people buy a brand new car just to sell it before theyve even gotten used to it... it baffles me

whatever.. if you had the money at hand you would be able to bargain with her.. but i think you should just buy a new one

She likes very plain jane cars and doesn't have any use for this one--wants the $$$ I saw the window sticker and just shy of $32K Probably not the greatest deal, but low miles and we are just looking for something to replace our Avalon (75,000 miles) for a few years til the kids are out of college. Guess we will sleep on it and see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks to all for the help. I'm new to this site, but bought my first new Toyota in 1977!

As one data point, here is a 07 with Navi but higher miles like 24K mis that sold for under $19K.

Clearly, this is a fire sale you are talking about , I wouldn't offer that much.

True but it didn't meet his reserve price because it was too low.
So no sale...

Depends on if the car is like 4 months old, She could have bought that in October, did some road trips and decided she didn't like it.
Heck if you think it's a good deal, you like the color, it's got all the options you want, and it's not 23 months old grab it.

If it's covered in rock chips and has dings etc walk away....it's really not that bad of a price for what it is.
I myself would want the extra warranty which may be a concern if the car is 23 months old, and it's really not a lot more for a 2008. Maybe 4k more for a brand new one.

So weigh everything out and make a decision.
