Yea its just the red fading. My mom's 07 Camry has the 18' TRD rims and it was red when she first bought it.

Wow...this isn't good news for those of us with the sixth generation TRD rims...

First, I have the scratched lip problem at 660 miles, now the lettering goes from red to yellow...

Oh jeez.....

The center caps on my 18" TRD wheels are fine after almost two years. The only part of the wheels that have TRD on them are the center caps so switch them out.

If stressing out over the rear valence and a scratch of your chrome wheels are your biggest problems, then you have it easy LOL.

Really....I have it "easy"? I know it may not seem like a big deal to you -- or others -- but this vehicle cost me -- personally -- a good deal of cash and I wanted it to remain as new as possible without getting a damaged rim after 660 miles on the odometer.

If my "broken heart" comment is a source of amusement for you, I don't know what to say except that to me, this is personally hurting and dissapointing as I don't take my vehicles for granted.

And where did I "stress out" over the "rear valence"? You mean the plastic flap diffuser things? I never even got a clear answer on what those were...I never stressed about the SE's "rear valence"...

My TRD center caps faded from red to an orangish/yellow on all four corners. I went to the Toyota dealership and got them replaced under warranty but it was not an easy process. The new center caps are doing fine so far.

If your car is still under warranty, then take it back to the dealership. Tell them this is poor workmanship, hence, should be covered under their warranty.

I was wondering about those center caps. I just noticed the other day that I have 3 yellow TRD center caps, and 1 orange. But it doesn't look faded, more like it came from the factory that way....I was going to ask the dealer about that at the next oil change
