Some help -- newbie

hi, i have a 6 cylinder automatic 04 camery. i was wondering whats a good brand or whatever for power steering and breaking fluids. what's good for the engine? also what what coolant can i get at a department store, not at the Toyota dealer ship. and last but not least, is valvoline conventional 5W-30 good for the car?

go into auto zone and or pep boys give them the year make and model of your car and they can answer all your questions...

or... do a search?

the reason i ask is because i want to know what to know for my own knowledge and not be talked into something that i am not supposed to buy or not as well for the vehicle. I just hate those sales reps, they always get what they want.

Screw the Autozone type guys re: proper specs/types.

Autozone can show you different brands that meet TOYOTA/YOUR specs.

Use your Owners Manual for specs/type.
