weight of OEM hood and trunk??

Looking for a future carbon fiber modification for my '07 Camry (don't care about the looks, just the weight reduction), and was wondering if anyone knew the weight of the OEM hood and trunk?

Something tells me that the electronics that you added to the car would make a bigger weight reduction for less money than swapping hood and trunk.

yea... i think it would be better to take the trunk and hood off and weigh them yourself... there's no reason for anyone to take off their trunk or hood unless they are replacing it

i think I saw a CF trunk on the bay a while back, the price was pretty up there. sorry don't have the details on the auction or the manufacturer.

My wife has those wheels... yes, they have faded to yellow.

My friend owns an autobody shop, I will probably stop by there and see what he can come up with.
