Everytime I make a turn or a hard turn I hear clicking noise at the steering wheel. On top of that when I accelerate the car often shudders. What is going on?? I just got my wheels balance the other week so I know its not that. I was thinking its the joint problem. What do you think?? How much would it cost for replacement and install??? If it is??
I have a 05 with 41,000 it started doing that it 29,000 I took it to the dealer and almost all 05 make that noise. The servicewriter said that there is tsb on intermedite steering shaft noise. No danger just a pain in the ass noise.

The steering shaft will not make the car shudder on acceleration though.
Is it a constant clicking noise during the whole turn while moving? Or as you turn the wheel, it clicks once then done until you turn back the other way?

i know theres a TSB for the intermediate shaft, but it wouldent cause a shudder
i agree with TRD...most likeley a bad CV joint...to be sure id take it to the dealer and have them properly diagnose the issue, as i cant say unless i drive the car and look it over personally

I agree.
It doesn't help the the OP wants help but won't answer questions or give good descriptions. It's hard to help people that don't participate in their own thread...
