Hey all,

Does anyone have any suggestions on a muffler or exhaust for the 07 4 cyl Camry? I've been looking into the TRD one, but I don't know whether it's just for the v6 or wat, so im pretty confused on that. I was thinking more on the lines of a universal muffler or something, nothing too expensive, and adding power is not exactly the high point of it. I really just want a nicer sound and a nice, clean look to it, although, performance would be appreciated as well =)
I just dont want to spend too much on it, and the ones that do the performance job well tend to be pretty pricey

custom is the best way to go... go with magnaflows for a deep sound... straight thru design for performance, or wait until gene gets something setup for a 4cyl exhaust

magnaflows are of a good price. the ones ive heard on a v6 sound good.
JDM ones would cost a bit more.

like netforcer said, custom is the way to go.

Everything looks and sounds like fartcans...specially on our 4.
Go with a magnaflow or flowmaster

Not really... check out youtube for tC exhausts... it should sound similar

you want quiet?? get all OEM V6 exhaust, that's what I did.

magnaflows sound good
im actually looking into universal mufflers more, but a lot of em sound WAY too ridiculous for me, i mean, maybe if i wanted to be funny i would get one?
the only thing is, universals dont usually do anything for performance, and im kinda looking for that little boost as well

Why do you say that? you think exhaust systems have some kind of special gizmo to increase power? since you said you're new... i'll take it easy and say that freeing up the airflow in the exhaust will help you gain a few hp... stock mufflers are very restrictive... as well as the stock resonator and piping... since you're I4, go for 2.25" or 2.5" piping

when u say piping, do u mean the entire system? from the headers to the tailpipe?
