Cover on Stock Header??

On this thread on the first page:

Finally I Installed K&N for my I4!!!

There is cover on the stock header. Are all your Camrys like this?

I don't have one. My header is exposed.

I think that engine cover is standard in I4.

Mine's I4, no cover.

It depends on if it is the PZEV model or not.

the PZEV Camry's don't have the shield because the PZEV units have a different emissions system and don't need the heat shield.

Not standard in my I-4 xle...

If it is separate...I will look where to get, but if it was suposed to be standard...then toyota owes me one.

It's not a header. It's an exhaust manifold.

CA and NY area cars have a different manifold/convertor combo that doesn't come with the cover.

It wont, it mounts differently, I already tried. Toyota parts guy cam out to my car and showed me where it would mount up and we dont have a mount there to support it.

Strange. My 07 is ULEV, Tier 2 Bin 5 per the sticker under the hood, and it was purchased new in California December 2006. It does have the cover over the exhaust.
