Gen6 Tire/Wheel size for OEM Diameter

I'm hopefully getting my bonus sometime this month, and I plan on getting some new wheels for my SE.

I'd like to get some 18's for my car (don't want to sacrifice too much ride quality, since it's a baby transporter =)...

Could anyone verify what tire size I would need to go along with 18" wheels to keep the OEM diameter so that my odometer doesn't go screwy?

I know the stock tires on 17" wheels are P215/55R17

Would the tires need to be P215/45/R18 to equal stock diameter?

Also...could anyone let me know the offset specifications for the stock SE 17" wheels?

Thanks.

Regards,

Khanh

stock SE wheels are 17"x7" wide. offset is +45
most users on the board went with either 225/45/18, 245/40/18 or 235/40/18.
to save you the time to search the boards, check this thread out
Wheel offset and Tire Calculator

wheel and offset calculator. it lets you calculate what would be the closest set to match the OEM diameter.

most users also went with either 18x8, 18x8.5" wide and anywhere from +38 upto +45 on the offset

I went it 235-45-18. It's very close to OEM size.
