My Camry Hybrid did not come with sunroof and I am thinking about adding one to it. I wanted to know if you guys think this is a good idea? Has anyone done this? Can you recommend anyone in S.Cal? Any known issues with adding a aftermarket sunroof. Any info is greatly appreciated.

You have two options:
1. Trade the car in on another one with a sunroof.
2. Get used to not having a sunroof.
Having an aftermarket unit installed is not an option. Or it shouldn't be. What you will do is pay good money for the job and be disappointed on first look. It will get worse when it rains. If it doesn't leak the first rain or carwash, it will eventually. They just do. Then it will be trade in time and someone will look at it and knock off a grand or so from the price because 7/10 people looking to buy it will say no because of the sunroof. So you pay for it twice.
But there is hope. Do you know anyone with a huge tree? If so, go ahead and have the sunroof installed. After you've had it awhile and it begins to cause problems, building mildew in the car, staining the upholstery, rusting out, you can park the car under the tree during severe storms and with a little luck, and a nudge from a chain saw, you can have the entire top of the car replaced with the original equipment.

LOL..that was awesome...very descriptive....I could actually imagine everything you were saying! Are you a writer?
My LE didn't come with a sunroof but the dealer would have installed an aftermarket one and warrantied it as if it were factory installed. Didn't do it because they wanted $1,200. I had an aftermarket sunroof installed at the dealer on my 01 yukon. It still works perfect. I guess it depends on the shape of your roof....yukon roof big and pretty flat.
I have a little different take. The newer sunroofs are installed with a water management system. Essentially they have a drainage system (just like the oem's). Even the oem's can leak but they have a drip pan that channels the water down tubes (usually in the a $ c pillars). The good after market sunroofs do the same thing. So I guess I'd say check out a few places and ask the relavent questions about leakage. Go to your dealer and ask them who they use.

the one on my gen4 is aftermarket- its been there for 3-4 years now and it isn't leaking.
it fuckn rattles like its a cheap car. Holy shit man- don't do it. Get a nice set ov wheels or c/o or springs and wheels.. sunroofs are way over rated Guaranteed!.

I work at a dealership and we don't do it. Now adding leather we having a couple of places that do it but sunroofs nope its not worth our rep.
Screw the sunroof. Go to Coach Builder Limited and have them saw your entire roof off and make it a convertible. I've seen a few Cadillac Eldorado's that have been converted and they are cool. http://www.coachbuildersltd.com/
Back on topic, I've been in a couple of cars with aftermarket sunroofs and they have all leaked. All of those owners said they wish they didn't do it.

A couple of years ago, I was checking out some land parcels which we were gonna buy. This is in Bulgaria (eastern Europe). Anyway, the real estate rep was driving us around in his red Lada (looked exactly like this).
And he actually had a sunroof retrofitted which was leaking like MAD. Not to mention that the sunroof was worth more than the car itself.
Do NOT go for an aftermarket sunroof. You're just asking for trouble and you will wish you could've still had your clean, DRY, headliner.

All my cars have had OEM sunroofs, I always order the car with it even though I never open it, I even keep the shade shut. I dont know why I keep it closed, just cant stand to have it open. I pretty much only get it for resale value....
