Rear view camera - worth it?

Is there anyone install a rear view camera? Is it good?

I found it is pretty hard to see anything at the back when I back up my 08 Camry. I am sure a rear view camera will help.

It's a $150 accessory to my H/U. Maybe I'll buy one when I see a good deal.

If you have double limo tints like me, then yes. otherwise, probably not.

What type of Headunit do you have?

I'm planning to get a TCR-07 because I need a rear view camera for reverse.

I have limo tint also all around.

yes it is multiple layers, in this case, two layers of limo tint. limo tint being super dark, next to black from the outside.

ive got a rear view camera, bought the camera really cheap from ebay around AU$70 (ard US$60) shipped, it has night vision too. ive got a JVC aftermarket unit so basically it was plug n play. its definitely worth the money and i dont have to drill the bumpers like if would have to if i want to install reversing sensors, definitely go for it i say

Question for those who have it - where is it mounted on your camry?

That's one feature I definitely want and will probably make me go after market HU, but for the life of me, I haven't figured out where I would mount the thing. License plate is a no-no in manhattan, it'll be ripped off in about 3 seconds after I park my car.

You can mount it inside on the rear windshield aimed downwards, given it comes with some kind of mounting bracket

Get one of the BOYO VTL series backup cameras that mount on your license plate..

currently my car is stock with no bodykit, so i put the camera below the bumper, some ppl notice it some dont, but if you lower your car, the less chance ppl will notice it imo

I see the BOYO VTL does not come with the screen. Does it connect to your NAV? or you use your own display?

It is not wireless, right?
