Need Some Help

Hello im not very familiar with this but somebody told me to come here to see if someone can help me.
I recently acquire a 03 LE camry and i program the keyless remote and i thought that the car had a alarm but when i lock the car with the remote and open the door nothing happened. I want to know how can i be sure that the car dose not have the alarm unplugged or those not have at all and if it dosent can i put the VIP RS3200 security system.

It comes with keyless entry. Not alarm. You'll have to install your own. Go with viper or carbine. They're great brands. Prices range from 50 bucks to 700 bucks or more. Good luck.

A tech at Futureshop (BestBuy) told me that the alarm in my 03 LE is there but dormant, and you probably can go to the dealer to activate it. I have keyless entry with a panic button, and a red blinking security light near the HVAC controls.

Does anyone know the procedure to activate the alarm function?
