Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I think I might be screwed. I installed a battery harness on my car for the HIDs and now my lights wont turn on. Ive tried everything I can think of as far as hooking it back up to stock and still, nothing. Ive tried stock halogen bulbs and the stock wire hook up. I think I might have blown a fuse. where is the fuse located? any input on this? I dont want to take it to the dealer...

I believe that the fuse is located in your engine bay to the right on the intake on the far side if you are looking directly at the engine bay from the front of the car.
Look on page 274 and 298 in your owners manual.
Blowing a fuse might be possible, but look and let us know if that is not the problem.

if its anything like the gen 5.5, all the fuse locations should be listed on the top of the fuse box cover.. check there and see.. if not, it should be in the manual..
did you replace your headlight fuse with the radiator fuse? the fans arent supposed to move all the time.. are you sure it isnt working? turn on the A/C and see if it turns on..
Im sorry and i know this isnt helpful but from reading your posts in this thread you shouldnt have installed you own HIDs...take it to the dealer or a reputable shop or a friend that know what he is doing
my HID's worked fine. Its not a problem of install, it's a simple plug and play. I replaced the fuses and it works just fine. Figured out the other problem too. Thanks all.

Glad to here. I am sorry I couldn't have helped more. I am at work and it is hard to discuss things in depth. Let us know if you have anymore questions or help with new mods.
Later.

I was freaking out because I thought I melted my wire harness. I remember someone on here did and it was $1300. Im still living in a dorm so that kinda scared me. Turns out, I blew 2 fuses and instead of a $1300 bill it was a $3 bill. And on top of it all, when I connected my fog lights up, since they are H11, it blew them too.
Still havent figured out why my battery harness for my HID's caused this...

yeah, I followed the diagram and even so, it's pretty straight forward. What happened was when I plugged both H11 harnesses into the battery harness, it blows a fuse. very strange...
