Misty Headlight

Misty headlight. Anyone got the same issue? The dealer agreed to replace it for free under warranty, but they sure scrutinized my car for signs of collision before agreeing to replace. The car is 1 year old, 11K miles.

Oh wow, thats pretty bad. I get a little condensation in the tail lights after a hard rain, but nothing like that. Glad to hear they are replacing it for you!

I made sure to go to the dealer before the evidence was gone. After two days without rain, the condensation still there.

IMPORTANT If you experience condensation in either tail lights or headlights, replace it while its still under warranty. My passenger side tail light was having condensation build up almost every morning. At first I thought it was just the morning dew and low temp causing the tail light to "seem" like condensation was from the outside. But after a while, I realized it was from the inside. Took it to the dealer and they took a look at it. Found out the rubber sealant was torn. This might become a TSB in the near future, as the type of rubber sealant they used was, in the words of the technician, "not the typical material we should be using."

wow dude... that's really really bad... That actually reminded me those aftermarket peformance head light/tail light that made by EagleEye and Sonar....

I have the same problem after the 2nd day i picked up my car. However, mine goes away overnight.

I can't believe Toyota sells such a crap. If not for my mods, I would have already traded it for an M5

I had a similar problem. I took my car to the dealer and they washed it without asking me. Not that the car was dirty since I washed it the evening before. I was a little upset but didn't want them to change it since I retrofitted them. Did research on HIDplanet and got some headlight butyl sealant from Nissan (for free) and resealed both headlights.

I don't think toyota sells crap or intentionally gets it.. I'm just thinking the QC and QA process at toyota probably took a dive... some budget was cut =/

I hope everyone can get their condensation issue resolved... it really sucks when that happens.

kioto was stamped on the new tacomas and tc's so i would inagine they make the camry's, they are a great company that makes top of the line projectors and headlights.
mine had some in the corner when it went from the 70 degree show room to the 15 deg out side but left adfter a few hours, even was stated in the manual. but that is a little over the top.

so u have stock bulbs in?
