When i turn on my car i get a maintenance required light. It has been happening for about the past two days wanted to see if anyony has seen this issue. Any responses would be appreciated.

You have to be kidding.

If you did a search or looked in your owner's manual you'd know what it's for. Hell, there's even a thread on this page already...

...this topic has been covered so many times that it's getting old to even see a thread made by someone who makes no effort at all to even look into it on his/her own.

There is also a sticky that explains the search function that states "Newbies please read BEFORE posting".

It's getting near time for an oil change. The light will come on 4500 miles after your last oil change. Actual oil change interval is 5000 miles. Get the oil changed soon or just shut the light off for now. The procedure is covered in your owner's manual.
