Problem with G6 Bluetooth and Palm Centro Phone

So I recently got this phone from AT&T and wanted to connect it to the car's bluetooth but for some reason it's not working. I had no trouble with bluetooth when was using my W810i. During the phone pairing process the Centro finds the car just fine but the car can't find the phone. The car is stuck at the passkey portion and just keeps repeating "Searching". Any one have a clue what bluetooth version the Camry's is? Oh by the way, I have the JBL system without the navigation. I've done some searches but can't seem to find anything.

Any help or insight would be much appreciated.

I can't really help but I had the same on a Samsung Import slider...I just kept repeating the steps like 20 times and finally it caught on. I kept doing it as I knew it works, had it connected before.

Thanks guys. I checked the link provided by Silver SE; doesn't seem to list any palm phones but I read from a google search that others had Palm Treo's connected. Oh well, guess try calling that number on the link if no one else has any clues.

I typed "pairing Palm Centro with Camry" into Google:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

It's the second result. Just had to get to the last page of the thread that the link takes you to.

I had the same problem syncing my Motorola Droid to my Venza. The Toyota website and two different Toyota dealerships were of no help but a Verizon salesman was my salvation. The problem was with the phone. Although it said Bluetooth ready, I had to go into options and change some defaults.
