Im modding my new se v6 and i dont know anyone with really nice sounding exhaust im looking for a really muscle/ ss chevy sound which is hard to come by....... the recomondations i have gotten so far was Mac exhaust and Bassani exhaust i like the way borla sounds but i want rougher at a stand still ... any suggestions ? its all gonna be custom fit of course.
try searching for Epsilon, he has a v6 with a custom HKS hi-power exhaust setup.
itz4lanyo also has a hks custom v6 setup.
netforcer has Aeroturbines
a number of other members have magnaflows.
you can also try searching youtube.
since you have the v6 which essentially shares the same engine with the is350, you can try looking for videos of those too. over by clublexus, a lot of is350 guys run tanabe medallion touring setups. the greddy SP2 also has a nice deep sound to it.
yea i dont like the way magnaflows sound ... the hks sound good but not the rumble that im looking for exactlly... i hate the areoturbine sound... seems like the only cars that have the bassani exhaust are mustang gt 500s, some cobras, or thoes newer gtos and i cant get a real understanding of what it will sound like on the SE
Hey I have the Custom Catback HKS Carbon Ti Exhaust System. It is basically the hi power hks, but more expensive bc of carbon fiber. you can get more info on my exhaust and hear it here Parting my Modded Camry w/ PICS & Things for Sale. 56k BEWARE
(its still for sale )
All i can say is im satisfied with my exhaust and its nice and deep. It gives a great loud deep roar on the low rpms. and when you are driving highways, it isn't loud at all.
If you want something loud during idle, i suggest tanabe exhaust.

What do you expect? You are looking for the sound of an American made gas guzzling V8 from a Japanese efficient V6. You want loud, rice it out or get a Mustang with Flowmasters and an H-pipe. Either way, you will be like everyone else on the road

you guys are clownshoes.... i know that certine companies make exhaust to have differnt sounds... for example i kno flowmaster has a new exhaust specifically to sound deep like with a muscle sound... bassani staight up sounds like pistons are goin off so im probly gonna go with bassani since none of u guys can give me anything really constructive that i can use..... hks sounds ok ... not loud enough still to ricey for my likeing ... im not a wannabe race car driver so that shit wont work out for me... and id never pay 1k for ur hks exhaust i can get it whosale and free instalation my family owns a midas muffler... peace
yea deff man ... good point ... i just dont know anyone who has exhaust on their camrys ... and i dont know anyone who has anything different then borla, aroturbine, magnaflow , and hks... none of them really got me so im hopping bassani is gonna be as rough on the camry as it is on the mustang gt
