Wow nice...especially, the body kit and grillie. Where did you get those? Is the grillie still in production?

The grille is the RS one that I picked up off of eBay. I'm probably going to paint it the same color as the car.

The lower panels are the factory Toyota Ground Effects kit that comes with the fully loaded SE I believe. Got that off of eBay as well.

Did not use the screws. I remembered that you had problems when you got up to where it was cold.

Only thing I'm not happy with is the grille. When the light hits it you can see both horns and the radiator... so at some point I will be replacing the internals.

Funny thing TRD VVTi... when I called down there she asked for my VIN number. Once I told her it wasn't the SET package she put me on hold for 4 minutes while she called SET to see if it was ok to sell it to me. Came back on the line and said no problem!

My spoiler broke when I went up to Minnesota. I couldn't get it warrantied in MN because it's an SET part so I called down to my old dealer in North Carolina. At that time they had two cars with the spoiler problem. One broke the spoiler and the other actually ripped the trunk metal where the screws were.

When I got that grille I also didn't like how visible everything was behind the grille. I found that painting the mesh silver actually cut down on that but I still wasn't happy with the look. Finally I tried the stainless mesh which is thicker. I'm satisfied with mine now.

That's strange that the dealer actually called SET to see if it was OK to sell the spoiler. I've never heard of that before, except on some factory special edition cars from GM.

You're car is really looking great.

I think that we have similar tastes.

Nope... just the standard LE lights. I would love to do a retrofit but I think that's a little above my abilities. May have to ask my mechanic if he "knows" of anyone that could do it.

Here's what she looked like when I got it...

What... the spoiler? I got my Ground Effects from toyota2go on ebay.

Here is the Ground effects kit folks. Looks like it's gone up...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-06-TOYOTA-CAMRY-BODY-KIT-GROUND-EFFECTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6755QQihZ010QQi temZ200201244567QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

You can try this... the person who helped me was Michelle Hatcher at Serra Toyota in Birmingham, AL. # is 205-838-4400.

The spoiler alone was $139. Don't know what it would cost to get all 6 pieces for the Ground Effects. The SET package is similar to this. Check out TRD VVTi's car. That's a real SET toyota. In some aspects mine is Frankenstein'd... but with the exception of the 18inch wheels and pillar logos it's the same.

TRD VVTi also posted another dealership that he had success with for parts. You'll have to do some backtracking to find it.

While I was getting my oil changed at Rivergate Toyota they had a huge poster of the Toyota dealerships with names and location. The two closest ones to me were in Atlanta and Birmingham. Since I was going down to Huntsville I took a side trip to Serra and ordered mine while I was in the "neighborhood"!

Call Michelle at Serra for the spoiler. You'll have to call someone affiliated with the SET group.
