I had more than just the 'Camry" and "LE" sign to take off.
I had these annoying advertisement sticker letterings my dealership had on the bottom left corner of my trunk.
" East-Coast Toyota - Scion
'Rt. 17 next to the Meadowlands "

^^ thats exactly what it said. ugh. lol lame right?
they put that on my trunk in black adhesive lettering.
so i had to peel them shits off by hand.
but as far as the camry and trim sign.
I took ur advice and used dental floss.
I don't have an extension cord long enough to reach from my apartment to my parking lot.. lol
so i put pulled a long piece of floss out, folded it 3 times to form one strand put it into the side of the camry sign, and i kinda i guess...
sawed' it off. i guess u can say like polishing your shoes.. pulling one side then the other side. it took the sign right off.
and i just pulled the grey adhesive crap off by hand. worked like a charm thanks to you.
wiped the area with rubbing alcohol which works perfectly in getting sticky crap off. then i waxed the area with Turtle wax.
after that, i got a carwash and then waxed & detailed my car.
=]

here are the pics.
now i'm in the shaved ass club =]

i included a picture of my new borla xr-1 muffler i just got i'll be welding that baby on, on tuesday, so i'll post that up for ya if you'd like after i weld it on.

Welcome to the club bud - looks great.

I have always insisted that the dealer not put any badging on the car for that very reason.

Glad my post helped.

Cheers.

I agree. Thats probably one of the best looking dealer emblems I've seen. Actually goes well with the color scheme.
