What's the point of this thread?

I've never seen, heard or been in a car that's gotten quieter as time goes by. So again what's the point of this thread?

The point was to see how the Camry compairs to its competition in terms of quietness.

Do you think the tires on the SE model generate more noise than the other models tires?

No, I have the upgrade Micheleins, it the dash and the console that creaks.
I will get the tsb done soon, that will help...

the SE has a slightly stiffer susp than the "normal" camrys. mine is a japan-built - no rattles no nothing

Yay. Since there's really not a scientific basis for all of this, I'm gonna feel better in seeing all of the positive messages stating my Camry is quieter than an Altmia or Accord. More validation in my purchase a Camry over those two is just what I need today .

It's a message board, thus it's mostly conjecture. I guess it's always good to read nice things being said about my car...

its the engine, the v6 are known to be louder than the i4
