2007 Toyota Camry SE

With about 19K miles on my car, I hear a lot of noise with my car. It's kind of like a vibrating or hollow noise when I'm going at low speeds and definitely when I turn the wheel. The mechanics say that it was b/c the tires weren't balanced and that I should balance 'em out in a couple thousand miles. Well, still hasn't gotten any better. Also, it takes a lot of my "foot power" to step on the brake and slow the car down, also with the "vibrating" noise when I break or turn the wheel. Anyone else have this problem?

What? balance them out in a couple thousand miles? sounds like a lazy mechanic to me... you should've gotten the wheels balanced before they were put on... and also try an alignment... make sure your brake pads aren't worn down or rotors are warped...
