Strange noise from underneath - help

Each morning when I drive my car to work, I hear a "click" sound from underneath of my car.

It is underground parking, I back up my car and go forward (about 5km/hr), run about 50 ft, then I hear a click sound underneath near the back. I originally think I roll over something like a little rock, but there is nothing on the ground. I hear that every morning for the first drive. I cannot hear that noise if car has been moved during the same day.

Anyone can explain what is happening? My car is only 1300 miles on the ODO.

Only the first time you pull out right? After that its gone for the day... right?

Yes, mine does that too (5000 miles ODO), and so my other 3 Gen 6 Camrys...

I have 4 Gen 6 Camrys, and they all make the same click noise during the first move. I assume it is normal.

As long as you DO NOT run over somebody's foot... and crack the bones You're OK.

This has been gone over several times in the past.

What it is, is the ABS system performing a self check. Perfectly normal.
