Just checked my hid bulb. it is correct H11, and they are turn in all the way, but
they wiggle ever so slightly.. I put an h11 halogen in and tight, but the hid'd are a bit loose. what to do
get new hids... lol... sorry bad joke...
this is what i would do... find something that resists heat, and put it on the bulb, plastic part away from the glass to work as a spacer... as for the material i would use, probably some thick electric tape... you don't have to worry too much about it going in a little crooked or whatevers, cuz you can readjust your headlights to make em straight afterwards...

edit: put the tape on the plastic part that will go between the headlight housing and the h11 housing... let me know if that works for you...

OK that is what is wrong. the silicone ring gasket is to small and not fat enought. I might use 2 of those ring gaskets and try to compress it on. I think I will try what you said in the morning. thanks

if that is the case, can you pull it off your halogen h11 and put it onto you hids? i wouldn't put too much pressure, cuz you don't want to crack the plastic housing...

FIXED: what i did was take off the silicone gasket off the old halogen set and slip it in half. I put it on a bottle and use a razor blade and splite it. Now I have 2 thiner one. I left the original ones on, and then added the 1/2 one to each on top of other gasket.
worked like a dream and the bulb are tight now.
if you get GE hid bulbs, the tolerance is off a bit.
